Last week was a wreck, but this week was not.
- Today marks 2 weeks without cheese, although I'm meeting a friend for Indian food tomorrow + there just might be paneer involved.
- I've discovered a new author, Pico Iyer + started reading Abandon (library borrow).
- Yesterday I had lunch with a new friend, a crafty gal at work.
- Avocados are on sale at the grocery store + I've been going crazy for them (like Marissa + her pomegranate obsession. Elaine!!!!!).

1. Swoon. Ryan Gosling is a hearthrob, a breaker up of street fights, intelligent, and should come over so I can scrub some laundry on his abs. I don't think Mike would mind as long as I cleaned some of his clothes? It might be awkward for Ryan though, since my house is cold right now.
2. Yay for new friends! I've met some amazing gals in my newish bookclub, and they're hella fun.
3. This chica approves of avocados too! I'll pick up some at the grocery again, so good for you!! xoxo ,M
ELAINE!!! LOL.
I was just talking about your blog a couple of days ago when I scooped up some craft supplies. It was not related to my purging of stuff (even though I did do a bit in a swap) but the fact that I got some some tools so I can attempt carving! I have visions of lithographs! It may come to nothing but I'm determined to try.
Stay tuned! Also mmmmmmm.....paneer!
hey girl - I love the rg pic.
