"vintage" purse

I am not a label person, but there are times when labels are important to me because they represent quality (or at least in the case of Coach, at one point they did. What the heck happened to Coach being a purveyor of Fine Leather Goods?). Granted, when this "vintage" Coach purse I won on eBay arrived in the mail I immediately removed the dangling leather Coach tag the seller had kept all these years.

Right now I am trying to gradually refine some staple items.

Great score! I still love Coach style because their bags are usually classics (except for the "signature" items that broadcast to everyone within 50 yards that you shop at Coach). I confess I have a "signature" card case that I use as my wallet. It is the perfect size for me and is a little more discrete than a bag of the same material.

I do need to pare down my bag collection as I have several bags from my Brighton obsession days. My favorite go-to bag right now is a slim, black Kate Spade clutch that I want to keep forever.

Love the vintage purse! I would have taken off the tag too. Thanks for the eBay reminder, I'm looking for a smaller bag so that load is lighter when biking to work (lunch, books, shoes, etc).
